Edna L. Lowe

Lowe, Edna L. (McNeil) of Braintree, died August 27, 2018.

Dear wife of the late Richard Lowe.  Loving mother of Janet Donovan and her husband Joseph of Weymouth and Richard Lowe of Quincy.  Cherished Nana of Tara Campbell of Weymouth.  Devoted great Nana of Ryan, Eric and Emily Campbell all of Weymouth.  Beloved sister of the late Celine Totten and her late husband Daniel.  Adoring aunt of Linda Totten, Celine Mahoney and her husband Dr. John Mahoney, Nancy Ahearn and her husband Michael and Daniel Totten and his wife Lisa all of Quincy.  Also survived by many more nieces and nephews.

Edna retired from Filene’s department store, where she worked in the Billing Department for many years.  After retirement Edna worked at Bradlees and also assisted in the donation department for the Epilepsy Foundation.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time at the beach and Cape Cod, taking long walks, listening to Frank Sinatra and being in the company of other people.  Edna was a Boston sports fan, especially for the Red Sox.  Her main passion in life was her family and spending time with those she loved.  She will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 10-11 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 11 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 11:30 AM. Cremation will follow.
