Edmund M. Barry

Barry, Edmund M. of Quincy, originally from Brighton, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side June 22, 2021. 

Beloved husband of Kathleen “Happy” Davis of Quincy. Loving father of Michael Barry of Salt Lake City, Utah, Eric Barry of Cambridge, Eddie Barry and his wife Jackie of Arlington, and the late Robert Barry. Brother of the late Thomas Barry. Cherished Grampa Ed of Daniel, Cruise, and Jeremy Barry. Will also be missed by many loving nieces and nephews .

Ed was an avid Red Sox fan. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and his loyal dogs, Hobo and Edie. He considered Aruba his second home where he traveled to often.

He worked for Malden Transportation, Inc. for over 30 years.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours on Wednesday 6-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.  There will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9 AM Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, 550 Washington Street, Quincy at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ed may be made to MSPCA, Attn: Donation, 350 S. Huntington Ave., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
