Edith H. Mahoney

Edith H. Mahoney (Joyce) of Weymouth, died January 7, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was 87.

Edith devoted her life to her family. She enjoyed playing Bingo for many years.

Wife of the late John J. Mahoney. Loving mother of Susan Hutchinson and husband James of Weymouth. Cherished grandmother of Jacqueline Maffeo and husband Steven, Chris Hawkesworth and wife Donna and Jessica Pearce and husband Jay. Devoted great grandmother of Samantha and Nicholas Maffeo and Christopher, Amanda and Johnny Hawkesworth. Edith had a special place in her heart for her cat Tipsy, her grand dog Lola and her late grand dog Penelope.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 3-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street) followed by a Celebration of Life service at 7 PM in the funeral home. Donations in memory of Edith may be made to the MA Humane Society, 87 Wharf St., Weymouth, MA 02189.
