Eddie T. Saliba

Edmond T. Saliba,  “Eddie” of Braintree, died April 27, 2024, at the age of 32, after a very long, courageous battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy with his family by his side. For those that were lucky enough to know Eddie, every day was a joy and a blessing with him. He faced his numerous challenges with strength, courage, bravery, and often had a good sense of humor through it all. He was truly strong in all the broken places. He taught others how to be stronger, kinder and more compassionate. Eddie was a passionate fan of Boston sports and enjoyed music, history, movies, Broadway plays and spending time with family.

He was the cherished son of Margie Finn Saliba of Braintree and Eddie Saliba of Manomet. Loving brother of Maggie Saliba and her Partner Kevin Lydon of Marshfield;  and his lifelong friend Steve Manning. Eddie was predeceased by his loving grandparents. He is also survived by his lifelong caregivers David and Jenny Joyce-Webb and Matt Mason as well as many loving cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Eddie and his family are so grateful to ALL the in-home caregivers that helped him throughout the years and also  wish to acknowledge their profound  gratitude for the excellent medical care and compassion given by the RACU Unit at MGH Bigelow 13.
