Douglas R. Waters

Douglas R. Waters of Scituate, formerly of Braintree, passed away on November 12, 2024 surrounded by love at the age of 59. 

Doug was hard working and a great provider for his family. He was devoted to and adored his wife and children. Doug loved creating memories with his family, traveling to many places including New Hampshire, Florida, Humarock, countless other destinations, however, Aruba was where you could find him in his most relaxed state. Doug was known for his quick wit, always cracking a joke and making everyone smile. Most of all, Doug will be remembered for his selfless generosity. He would never say no and was always there to help. 

He was the beloved husband of Marianne (Grey) Waters. Loving and proud father of Madison “Madi” Waters and Brady Waters and his girlfriend Sage. Cherished son of Suzanne (Wadsworth) Waters. Loving brother of Dwayne Waters and his wife Karen of Weymouth and Tammy Krause and her husband Michael of Braintree. Son in law of Susan and Richard Grey of Scituate. Brother-in-law of Kelley Roach, Richard Grey, Ryan Grey, Meredith Folloni and Mason Grey. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews. Doug was greatly cherished and known as the “favorite” by all and will continue to be a positive role model for his people. 

Relatives and friends are respectively invited to join the family during the visiting hours on Sunday, 11/17/2024 from 1-5 pm in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rte. 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) A celebration of life gathering will follow at Weathervane Golf Club, 117 Clubhouse Drive. Weymouth, MA 02190 at 5-9 pm.
