Douglas S. Gentry

Gentry, Douglas S. of Weymouth, formerly of North Quincy, died February 23, 2022 after a long illness. Douglas grew up in North Quincy, later settling in Weymouth. He was a graduate of Quincy Vocational High School, class of 1974. Douglas worked for many years as a Computer Printer for Dickinson Printing Company & Staples. In earlier years, Douglas was a guitarist for The Dirty Dog band. He enjoyed music, playing guitar and watching the New England Patriots. Douglas was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and Weymouth Elks.

Beloved father of James M. Gentry of Weymouth and Allison M. Gentry of FL. Loving brother of Shirley Pittore of Duxbury and the late Beverly McCormack. Former husband of Alice (Lumenti) Gentry. Devoted cousin to the late Paul Gentry. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday 2-5 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). A funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 5 PM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home.
