Dosolina Gironda

Gironda, Dosolina of Hingham, died February 11, 2015, she was 89.

She was born and raised in Italy. She came over to America 48 years to the day she passed away.  She enjoyed gardening and cooking and had a special place in her heart for animals. The foundation of her life was her family, they were the cornerstone of all that was truly important to her, especially her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her. 

The beloved wife of the late Vito Gironda.  Cherished mother of  Maria DeGiorgio of Norwood, Vito Gironda of Italy, Olivina Misdea of Hingham,  Onofrio “Jimmy” Gironda of Norwood, Antonio Gironda of Peabody and the late Elizabeth and Onofrio Gironda. Dosolina is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren as well as family members in Italy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10:30 AM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.
