Walsh, Dorothy (McCarthy) of South Boston, formerly of Quincy died September 2, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Gerard Walsh. Mother of Gerard “Jerry” Walsh of Arlington, VA, Brian Walsh of South Boston and Donna Nucci of Braintree. Sister of Elinor Magnussen of Holbrook. Dear grandmother of many grandchildren. Dorothy was born and educated in Boston. She worked for Boston Housing Authority as a Construction Manager for 22 years before retiring in 1992. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 8:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 9 AM. Cremation will follow.
