Gould, Dorothy T. (Garry) of Hull May 22, 2006. Wife of the late Leo Chasse and Donald A. Gould. Daughter of the late Edward and Maryellen (Cotter) Garry. Loving mother of Dorothy A. Chasse of CA, Jeannette Gould-Schmidt of Hull and the late Beatrice “Beatty” Chasse. Sister of Thomas Garry, Marie Brown, both of Framingham and the late Rita Paul, Freddy Garry, Gerry Bent and Virginia O’Donnell. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass in celebration of her life will be held on July 22 at 9:00 am in St. Ann’s Church, corner of Lewis and Samoset Ave., Hull. Burial will follow in Hull Village Cemetery. Donations in Dorothy’s memory may be made to the Anne Scully Senior Center, 197A Samoset Ave., Hull, MA 02045 or to Ronald McDonald House, 229 Kent St., Brookline, MA 02146. Dorothy was very active with the Anne Scully Senior Center in Hull where she volunteered in the kitchen, serving coffee and serving meals for 15 years. Her extraordinary volunteer efforts were recognized by the MA State Senate. Dorothy also served as the president of Hull Yesterday’s Youth (a senior social club) for many years. She was an avid collector of Nippon Fine China and belonged to a national Nippon Collector’s Club. In the 1970s and 1980’s, she co-owned and operated Ye Olde Flea Market in Hull. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
