Dorothy Shute

Shute, Dorothy A.(White) of Quincy, passed away on August 4, 2012. The beloved wife of the late William Shute. Loving mother of Dorothy McDonough and her husband Jack of Half Moon Bay, CA, Gloria Lane and her husband Jim of Hingham and William Shute and his wife MaryAnne Bernal of San Antonio, TX. Sister of Alice DiBeneditto of Stoughton, Edward White of Salem, NH, William White of Henderson, NV, Lillian Pagliucca of West Yarmouth and the late Frederick & Donald White. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Dorothy enjoyed traveling with her late husband William. She also enjoyed following politics. The essence of her life was her family. They were the foundation of all that was truly important to her. She will be sadly missed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 3-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
