Dorothy M. Moody

Moody, Dorothy M.(Hogan)of Center Barnstead, NH formerly of Quincy died December 15, 2009 with her children and grandchildren by her side. Beloved wife of the late William R. Moody Sr. Devoted mother of William “Bill” R. Moody and his wife Claire of Center Barnstead, NH, Marilyn Ann Ladd and her husband Peter of North Kingstown, RI. Sister of the late Barbara Parsons. Loving grandmother of William, Daniel and Jeffrey Ladd and Derek and Alex Moody. Dorothy is also lovingly survived by 11 great-grandchildren. Dorothy worked for South Shore Bank for many years before retiring in 1981. Dorothy loved to read, knit, dance and sing. She learned to tap dance at age 75. Dorothy lived at 1000 Southern Artery for 16 years and was active in all their programs. She was in charge of the knitting group for the Artery Fair. Dorothy loved to watch “Dancing with the Stars” and ballroom dancing on TV. Dorothy was and avid Patriots and Red Sox fan. She knitted her whole life, making sweaters and doll blankets to the delight of her great-granddaughters. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Saturday 10-11AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. Funeral Service will be held in the Keohane Funeral Home 11AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
