Dorothy M. Gilbride

Gilbride, Dorothy M. of Quincy at the age of 97 died July 28, 2006. Daughter of the late Terance F. Gilbride and Rebecca (McPhee) Gilbride. Cousin of Michael and Bernard Connolly both of Ireland. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Monday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 9:00 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 2- 6 PM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. Donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to Regis College,235 Wellesley Street, Weston, MA 02493. Miss Gilbride received her Bacholers degree at Regis College, Class of 1931. She was a member of the Tower Club and Founders Club at Regis. She received her Masters degree at BU and also studied at Sorbonne University in Paris and Lavelle College in Canada. She was past president of the Quincy Teachers Assn. and Chairman of the Quincy Retired Teachers Assoc. Miss Gilbride was also a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Women’s Club and the St. Ann’s Senior Citizens.
