Donohue, Dorothy M. (Slattery) of Hull and Treasure Island, FL, March 22, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Charles E Donohue. Adoring mother of Joan E. Thompson-Allen of No. Easton, Chuck Donohue of Windham, NH and Kathie M. Bogden of Hull. Loving sister of Phyllis Devaney of Hull. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald Street, Hingham, Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 3-7 PM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull. Dorothy enjoyed playing BINGO with her friends at Copley at Stoughton Nursing Home. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends in earlier years. Mrs. Donohue had a talent for knitting, crocheting and crafts. She even made several items that were sent to children in third world countries through the organization, Medical Missions for Children. Dorothy was very proud of her late husband and their life of 58 years together. She especially liked to dance with him. Dorothy retired from the Hull School System in the 1980’s prior to retiring to Treasure Island in Florida. She returned to Hull in 2000. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mrs. Donohue may be made to Medical Missions for Children, 28 Martingale Lane, Westwood, MA 02090.
