Dorothy M. Blanchard

Dorothy M. (McAuliffe) “Dottie” Blanchard, of Weymouth, died peacefully January 19, 2015 with family by her side.

Dottie adored winters by the water in Florida and sunny summers by the beach in South Harwich. Her family feels blessed for so many years and memories cherished with her. 

Beloved wife of the late Bertie J. Blanchard. Devoted mother of John Blanchard of NY and Susan Callen and her husband Kevin of Hingham. Cherished “Nana” of Kristina and Paul Callen, Darcy Bolognone, Lisa Emerson, and many great-grandchildren. Loving sister of Elizabeth Humphreys and the late Joseph McAuliffe, Marian Lantery, and John McAuliffe. Special friend of Carolyn Hirschberg. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) 

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10 AM.

Burial at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
