Morano, Dorothy L. (Gorham) of Hull, passed away February 22, 2012. Beloved wife of 60 years to Luca F. Morano. Loving mother of Teresa M. DeFlurin and her husband, Robert, of Braintree, William J. Morano of Bridgeport, CT, Deborah A. Conti and her husband, Macdonald, of Stoughton, Julie R. Morano and her husband, Christopher Gill of Hull, Stephen L. Morano and his wife, Brenda of Rockland, and John T. Morano and his wife, Susan of Hull. Sister of the late Thomas, Gerard, and James Gorham and Kathleen Tempesta. Also survived by her 12 cherished grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Boston, Dorothy had lived in Hull for many years. She was a member of the Hull Senior Center, enjoyed going to bingo,doing her word search puzzles and loved collecting teddy bears. Her life was centered around her loving family and she cherished the times spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dorothy and her husband would spend winters in Florida and would always tell him that she wanted to go home to see her grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull. Donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress Street, Boston, MA 02210
