Brooks, Dorothy J. (LoCascio) of Quincy, formerly of South Boston, January 21, 2007. Beloved wife of Richard P. Brooks, Sr. Loving mother of Kellianne & her husband James Connors, Jr. of Squantum, Richard P. Brooks, Jr. & wife Meredith of Braintree and Brad P. Brooks of Quincy. Devoted grandmother of Jaime, Hailee, Christian, Noah, Dylan, Katie & Ryan. Loving sister of Linda Peters of Squantum, Dianne Applegate, George LoCascio, Denise LoCascio, Gemma Donahue, all of South Boston, Joanne LoCascio of VA and Karen Wall of Braintree. Dorothy is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins & friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the graveside service in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree Friday at 12:30 PM. Meet in front of cemetery office. Dorothy enjoyed her work as a certified nursing assistant and helped out at the family guesthouse business in Provincetown. She was a gardening enthusiast and twice won the Quincy Sun award for the largest sunflower. She liked to travel and spend time at the family vacation cottage in Manomet. Most of all, her life was her family. She will be greatly missed. Donations in Dorothy’s memory may be made to St. Judes Childrens Research, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38105.
