Dorothy G. Bishop

Bishop, Dorothy G. of Quincy, died July 28, 2012. Beloved sister of Robert W. Bishop of Brockton. Devoted aunt of Melissa Bishop of Quincy and the late Brian W. Bishop. Dorothy was also survived by many cousins. Dorothy was born in Boston and lived in Dorchester before moving to Quincy. She was a communicant at St. Ann’s Church in Quincy and a member of the Red Hat Society. Dorothy worked as a clerk for the USPS in Boston for many years before retiring. Dorothy enjoyed getting together with her close circle of friends and spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
