Dorothy E. Mara

Mara, Dorothy E. “Dot” of Quincy passed away peacefully with her family by her side, February 27, 2007. The beloved daughter of the late Margaret (MacAloney) and Philip Mara. Sister of Philip Mara of Cataumet, Jean Powers of Dedham, Helen Perkins of Weymouth and the late George “Pete” Mara. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and her very close friend Richard Thomas. Dot was employed by Dun & Bradstreet for 37 yrs as District Manager of their Boston office. In retirement, she was employed at CVS in Wollaston. She was an avid bowler and loved spending time with family. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor and her gentle and caring spirit. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Friday 3-7 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
