Dorothy “Dotty” Ridge

Ridge, Dorothy “Dotty” of Quincy, returned to Our Lord on March 21, 2016.   

Dotty was a devoted Catholic and very active in the Star of the Sea Church and it’s community in Squantum.  She was a member of the choir and book club and enjoyed drawing and singing.  Dotty’s main passion was spending time with her family and friends, especially at Furnace Pond.  She will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.  

Loving daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Ridge.  Beloved sister of Mary Ridge and the late Ellie Calhoun and her husband Jim and Bob Ridge and his wife Betty.  Cherished aunt of Christine Ridge McEvoy and her husband Dennis, Bill Ridge, Ellen Ridge and Jim Calhoun Jr. and his wife Diane.  Also survived by many grand nieces and nephews and great great nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 9-10 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church Chapel, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Boston.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to a charity of your choice.
