Dorothy C. Mcmurrough

McMurrough, Dorothy C. of Franklin, formerly of Hull passed away May 3, 2009. Loving sister of Mary Murray of Falmouth and the late Joseph McMurrough and Evelyn Roach. Beloved aunt of Mary Roach of Virginia Beach, Kathleen A. Sabet of Franklin, Mary Ann Barry of Milton, Michael McMurrough of Dorchester, Elizabeth Gianetti and Francis McMurrough both of Rockland. Dorothy was born and raised in Jamaica Plain. She lived in Hull for 43 years before moving to Franklin 2 years ago. She was employed by the New England Telephone Company for 43 years retiring in 1988. Dorothy was a member of the N.E. Pioneers of America, the Hull Outreach Program and the Lions Club. She was also a FISH volunteer in Cohasset. She loved traveling, being at the beach and spending time with family and friends. Dorothy will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Thursday at 10:15 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 11:00 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 3- 7 PM.
