Faherty, Dorothy C. Johnson (Whitty) of Wollaston, formerly of Dorchester & South Boston, September 11, 2005. Wife of the late James F. Johnson and the late James I. Faherty. Loving mother of Estelle Barry of Weymouth, Canole Cataldi of Quincy, Deborah Perret of Scituate and the late James Johnson. Dorothy is pre-deceased by 3 sisters and 1 brother. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Thursday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Dorothy attended Boston Trade School. She was an accomplished seamstress, specializing in detail work. She married and raised her family in Dorchester then moved to Quincy and lived there for 25 years. For the past 4 years, she has lived in Scituate. Dorothy was a member of the St. Ann’s Ladies Sodality.
