Foley and her friend John Stanton and Daniel A. Foley and his wife Susan all of Hingham. Sister of Robert T. Matthei of Lake Bluff, IL and Richard Matthei of Livonia, MI. Devoted grandmother of Julia & Liam Foley and Daniel A. Foley, Jr. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Saturday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Thursday evening 7- 9 PM and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Burial in Saint Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.Dorothy grew up in Chicago, she graduated from Mundelien College in Chicago ,she received her Masters degree in education. Dorothy taught 3rd grade at St. Paul’s School in Hingham for the past 18 years. She was a volunteer with “Swim with a special child” program in Weymouth for many years. She was the past treasurer of St. Paul’s PTO as well as a member.
