Dorothy A. Lavender

Dorothy A. Lavender (Petrilli) of Weymouth, died January 21, 2017 at the age of 83.

Dorothy grew up in Quincy. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends at her cottage in NH. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting and knitting.

Wife of the late Gordon H. Lavender, Jr. Mother of James Lavender of Taunton and the late Lee-Ann Merchant. Grandmother of Kristina M. O’Connor of Halifax. Great grandmother of Kayla and Emma O’Connor. Sister of Barbara Rae of Canton, Richard Petrilli of Hull, Roberta Goulding of Braintree, and the late Lawrence and James Petrilli.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Friday from 9:30-10:30 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street) followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. Donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to the Alzheimers Assn., MA Chapter, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
