Dorothy A. “Dolly” Schmidt

Schmidt, Dorothy A.”Dolly” Campbell lifelong of Hingham,December 23, 2009. Beloved wife of Robert W. Schmidt of Hingham. Loving mother of Patty Connors of Weymouth,Sandy Willis and her husband Jimmy of Hull, Flora Page of Pembroke and Roland Millman of Severn, MD. Sister of Joseph Campbell of Hull, Ellen Parsons of Hanover, Betty Roberts of Athol and the late Walter, George, Everett, Harold, Malcom and Charles Campbell, Mary Quinn and Ruthie Frazier. Dolly is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great- grandchildren on the way. Dolly is also remembered by many nieces, nephews and her faithful cat Sheba. Dolly worked for Merriman’s in Hingham for 15 years before retiring in 1984. She enjoyed many happy years of summers with her family at Ellis Haven Camp Ground in Plymouth. Dolly enjoyed the simple pleasures in life: gardening, doing puzzles and spending time with her family. Dolly’s home was always the gathering place where family could be together. Dolly will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Monday 4 PM – 8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Funeral Service will be held in Pyne Keohane Funeral Home at 11 AM on Tuesday. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
