Doris Marie Hogan

Hogan, Doris Marie (Biagi) of Hanson, formerly of Hingham died on March 23, 2010. Beloved wife of the late William G. Hogan. Devoted mother of Mary and her husband Michael Walsh of Hingham, William G. Hogan, Jr. and his wife Lauren of Hanson and Kathleen Fitzgerald and her husband Ernie Parkes of Hingham and Nova Scotia. Loving sister of Paula M. Magner of Hingham and the late Elizabeth H. Eastwood. Cherished Gram to Michael and Brian Walsh, Erin and Daniel Hogan. Great Gram to Aed’an Josè Walsh Machado. Doris grew up in Hyde Park and moved to Hingham in 1965. She has most recently been living in Hanson. She worked as a bookkeeper for Twin City Cleaners in Hingham for 18 years, retiring in 1985. She later worked as a teller for the Hingham Credit Union and as a customer service representative for the Country Loft. Doris was also the treasurer of the Wompatuck Improvement Association for many years. She enjoyed casino games, cards, Bingo, playing at Fascination in Hull and was an avid Red Sox fan. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Sunday 2 – 5 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Monday, prior to the Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church at 10 AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
