Menice, Doris (Kinnear) of Hull, died November 1, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family.
The beloved wife of 63 years to Joseph Menice of Hull. Devoted mother of Paul Menice and his wife Jean of ME, Vickie Desharnais and her husband Ronald of NH, Peter Menice and his wife Danielle of NM, Jeff Menice of Hull, Theresa Ryan and her husband Stephen of Norwood, James “Jay” Menice and his wife Susie of Lynn, Mary Wilson and her husband Allen of Weymouth, Tammy Parker of ME, Cathy Farrell and her husband Leo of Weymouth and Lynne Menice of Hull. Sister of the late John and Tommy Kinnear and Barbara Hernan. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren.
Doris enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking and loved to swim, but what she truly enjoyed was spending time with all her grandchildren. Doris had a true appreciation for the important things in her life – her family and her friends. She will be sadly missed by everyone who was blessed to have known her.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 9:15 am prior to the Funeral Mass on Monday at 10 AM in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull. Cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Doris may be made to Sunset Point Camp c/o Catholic Charities 275 West Broadway, South Boston, MA 02127.
