Doreen F. Wrick

 Doreen Wrick (née Grant), beloved mother, wife, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on January 7th at the age of 69. A generous, warm, and loving woman who had an impact on everyone she met, she was an active member of her community in Weymouth and Braintree, where she devoted her time and energy to many worthy causes. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Brian, and her two children, Matthew and Kelsey. Doreen will be deeply missed by all who knew her, including her brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Cindy Wrick of Marshfield, James “Mike” and Rose Wrick of Atlanta, GA, Mary & Kenny Ryan of South Boston, and the late Mark Wrick of South Boston, her cousins, Michael Campo and Debbie Nelson, her siblings, Denise and Ransome Grant of Florida, the Somerville family of Ireland, as well as her nephews, nieces, cousins and a wide circle of loving friends.

Relatives, friends and neighbors are respectfully invited to attend Doreen's Funeral Mass on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 10am in St. Francis Xavier Church, 234 Pleasant Street, South Weymouth, MA. A celebration of life will follow at 11:30am at the Weathervane Golf Club, 117 Clubhouse Drive South Weymouth, MA.
