Doreen M. Fraser

Fraser, Doreen M. (McQuiggan) of Weymouth, died April 1, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Doreen spent 58 wonderful years with her husband, John. She adored her four children, 9 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Her family was everything to her. Many wonderful memories were spent raising her family in Quincy. Cherished memories include summers in the pool, family holidays, and Sunday mornings listening to Oldies.

A generous woman, Doreen loved animals and spent many years supporting causes close to her heart such as the Rett Syndrome Foundation, South Shore Visiting Nurses, Police/Fire charities, and the South Shore Educational Collaborative. She will be remembered as a caring, friendly, spicy, thoughtful, and loving woman.

Beloved wife of John J. Fraser of Weymouth.  Loving mother of Doreen Carey of Weymouth, Kimberly Smith (Kevin) of Whitman, Rena Kocerha (Kenneth) of Brockton, John Fraser (Jennifer) of Braintree.  Cherished sister of Linda Derochea (Dell) of Holbrook, Theresa McQuiggan of Brockton, John Patrick McQuiggan (Jean) of Weymouth, Al Raymondi of Florida, and the late Diane Raymondi and Stanley McQuiggan.  Adoring Nana to Joshua, Kristin, John (Evageanette), Jennifer, Alexis, Kevin, Rachael, Leah, and the late Alisha. Great-grandmother to Jaiden, Anthony, Emerson, and Mason.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH.  Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
