Donna R. Conway

Donna R. (MacDonald) Conway of Braintree passed away September 21, 2022.  She was 75 years old.   Donna was born in Weymouth and was a lifelong resident of Braintree.  She was the wife of the late Robert (Bob) Conway and daughter of the late Dean (Maxwell) MacDonald and Stanley MacDonald.   Donna is survived by her son Shawn Conway and wife Kristen of Weymouth, Robert Conway Jr.  and companion Jane of Weymouth, grandson James Bennette and wife Heather of Plymouth and great grandchildren James and Noah.  She is also survived by her sister Linda Wing of Braintree, brother John MacDonald and wife Ann Marie of Weymouth.  She is predeceased by her sister Marsha Wood of Braintree.   Donna also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.  

Donna grew up on Cedarcliff Road and was a 1965 graduate of Braintree High School.   She met the love of her life Bob soon afterwards and they married in 1969.  Donna and Bob spent many of their summers camping in New Hampshire.  She worked in the food service industry for most of her entire life and enjoyed cooking for her family.  She was famous for her lemon bars.  Donna also loved her weekend lunches with her sister Linda and going to the local theater shows.  She will always be remembered for her great sense of humor.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday October 1, 2022 from 10AM-1PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH, 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral services will be celebrated following visiting hours at 1PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home. Cremation will follow. Donations may be made in memory of Donna to The Company Theater, 30 Accord Park Dr, Norwell, MA 02061.
