Blaney, Donna M. (Palmieri) of Quincy, August 20, 2007. The beloved wife of 44 years of Gordon H. Blaney. Loving mother of Keith B. Blaney and his wife Barbara of Braintree, Deborah A. Hilton and her husband Brian of Brockton and Janice L. Blaney of Dedham. Cherished sister of Charles J. Palmieri and his wife Jean of Cohasset. Daughter of the late Charles J. and Eleanor J. Palmieri. Devoted grandmother of Allison and Timothy Lemack of Brockton, Nicholas, Mark and Kaitlyn Blaney all of Braintree and Zackary Hilton of Brockton. Donna is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many cousins. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Saturday at 11am. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 12 Noon. Visiting hours Friday 4- 8 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Donna may be made to the Jimmy Fund, 1309 Beacon St., Brookline, MA 02446-9918. Member of Boston Carmens Union Local # 589, member of Local # 453 and member of Local # 600. Donna was born in Boston and raised in Roxbury & Dorchester. She graduated from Hyde Park High School. Donna worked from the MBTA for 17 years and most recently held the postion of supervisor. She was a member of the Boston Carmen’s Union Local # 589, also a member of Professional Workers Union of America Local # 453 and a proud member of MBTA Inspectors Union Local #600. Donna was a bus driver for the Head Start Program in Quincy , City of Quincy School Department – School Bus Drivers. More importantly Donna was a devoted mother and wife to her family. Family always came first. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 44 years, Gordon, her son Keith and her 2 daughters Deborah and Janice, as well as her brother Charles. She was the cherished grandmother of 6 grandchildren, Allison, Timothy, Nicholas, Mark, Kaitlyn and Zackary. Donna was a loving aunt to several nieces, several nephews and many cousins and many dear friends. She will be missed by all those who had the pleasure to know her.
