Donna M. (Grimshaw) Antonuccio

Donna M. (Grimshaw) Antonuccio, age 80, of Quincy, MA, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, her beloved husband of 62-years and partner for life Tony (Francis/Frank) by her side. Donna was born in Boston on May 16, 1944; she was the daughter of the late Walter Grimshaw and Cecelia (Donahue) Grimshaw. In addition to her husband, Donna is survived by her loved and cherished sister Mary Frances Dull.

Donna was a graduate of Monsignor Ryan Memorial (MRM) High School, Dorcheter, MA. She obtained her realtor license. Donna attended Suffolk Law School for a year, received her bachelor’s degree from Curry College, and her Master’s in Women’s Studies from Harvard College. She began her working career at Boston Edison in the 1960’s; it was a “career” short-lived because “in the day” married women were encouraged to resign from their “single-lady” jobs to give the job opportunity to a job-needy male or single female. Her next career move became her life-long career; she enjoyed years of growth and accomplishment retiring from Blue Cross Blue Shield as Assistant Vice President.

Donna and Tony loved to travel. Donna enjoyed her life and shared that joy with all she knew from life-long childhood friends to all her friendships that grew through the years.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visitation on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 10-11 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11 AM on Saturday, March 29, 2025. Cremation will follow. Interment is private.
