Donald P. Mcgowan, Jr.

McGowan, Donald P., Jr. of Norwell, formerly of Dorchester, died unexpectedly on February 3, 2008 at age 58. Born in Brighton, Donald was a graduate of Catholic Memorial High School and the University of Massachusetts. He was a retired U.S. Postal Service employee and active member of the St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Parish in Hanover. Loving son of the late Donald P., Sr. and the late Teresa M. (Montgomery). He is survived by a brother, Richard T. McGowan of South Weymouth, and sisters, Patricia A. Collins and her husband Peter of Shrewsbury, Kathleen M. Struble and her husband Robert of Kingston, and Sheila K. McGowan of Norwell. Devoted uncle to Kaitlin Struble, Courtney Struble, and Robert Struble, all of Kingston. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Monday at 8:30 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, Hanover at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 2 – 6 PM. Burial in Hanover Center Cemetery, Hanover.
