Donald Macpherson

MacPherson, Donald “Donnie” of Weymouth, died April 27, 2013. He was 62 years old.

Donnie was a lifelong resident of Weymouth graduating from Weymouth High School Class of 1968 and later graduated from the Northeast Technical Institute. In his early years he worked for Sacred Heart Parish in Weymouth. Most recently, Donnie was a HVAC technician. Don was an avid guitarist and a music trivia guru. He also had a passion for fishing and boating, especially around the Boston Harbor Islands.

Son of the late Charles, Sr. and Margaret MacPherson. Loving father of Lisa Marie MacPherson and grandfather of Nicholas Deshaies. Beloved brother of Joan (MacPherson) Mullaney, David MacPherson, Margaret (MacPherson) Hauter, John MacPherson, Ellen (MacPherson) Shepherd and the late Charles MacPherson, Jr. and Mary (MacPherson) Bell. Special uncles to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. 

Services for Donnie were private. Donations in his memory may be made to the Hospice of the South Shore or the South Shore VNA, 30 Reservoir Park Dr., Rockland, MA 02370.
