Leary, Donald “Don” of Rockland, passed away suddenly, November 8, 2014.

Don was born in Weymouth then was raised and educated in Abington. After living in Abington for a short time of his adult life he moved to Rockland where he worked for Globe Rubber for many years. Donald enjoyed fishing, the Celtics, and darts but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family. Donald was loved by all for his sense of humor and will be fondly remembered for his kindness and compassion.

Donald was predeceased by his father Joseph F. Leary Jr. and survived by his loving mother Nancy (Aitken) Leary of West Bridgewater. Beloved brother to  Joseph F Leary III of Florida, Janice DeGrenier and her husband John of East Bridgewater, and Cheryl O’Rourke of Avon. Cherished uncle to Joey, Jennell, Taylor, Derek, Scott, and Jonathon.

Services for Donald will be at McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH Weymouth (809 Main St. opp. South Shore Hospital) visitation on Thursday November 13th from 11-12:30 AM with a service in the funeral home to immediately follow. Burial will be in Village Cemetery, Weymouth.

Donations in memory of Donald may be made to the American Heart Association at 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231.
