Donald L. Pearson

Pearson, Donald L. of So. Weymouth formerly of Quincy, March 15, 2010. Beloved father of Elizabeth Farrell and her husband Michael of Park Ridge, NJ. Donald E. Pearson and his wife Claudia of Pembroke and Russell Pearson and his wife Kelly of Abington. Former husband of the late Betty (Pennington) Pearson. Devoted brother of Robert Pearson of Quincy, Kenneth Pearson of Weymouth and Barbara Wirtz of Abington. Donald was also lovingly survived by 7 grandchildren. Donald was born in Quincy and raised in Quincy until moving to South Weymouth. Donald was a dedicated police officer for the Quincy Police Department, after 33 years of service Donald retired in 1999. A United States Army veteran with the 4th Armored Division Donald was stationed in Germany. He was a member of the Society for Nautical Research and Weymouth Historical Society. Donald was a huge history buff enjoying Early American History. Donald enjoyed fine exotic cuisine and traveling to many countries including Brazil and Germany. Most importantly Don loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Thursday, March 18, 2010 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. Funeral Service in the Keohane Funeral Home Friday at 10:30 AM. Cremation to follow.
