Donald L. Flebotte

Donald L. Flebotte of Gulfport, Florida, formerly of North Quincy, MA died on July 17, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in South Boston on February 4, 1934 to Annie Marie and Arthur Flebotte.  At age 19 Don entered the United States Army and served proudly for 20 years, having assignments in Japan, Korea, Germany, Vietnam, Thailand, and several stateside posts.  Upon retirement from the army he was a custodian for the Milton and Boston school systems.  His family was his life and his happiest times were spent on trips to Disney World and many cruises to the Caribbean and Alaska with them.  

 Beloved husband of Louise (Mazzulli), devoted father of Donna Atkinson and her husband David of West Springfield, MA and Michael Flebotte and his wife Angela of Ludlow, MA, dear “Grandpa” to Christopher and James Atkinson and “Pop-Pops” to Danielle, Gabrielle and Isabelle Flebotte.  Brother of Claire Klehm of East Milton and Paul Flebotte of Rockland and the late Rita Rich, Arthur and Charles Flebotte.  Don is also survived by many beloved brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Monday evening from 5:00 to 8:00pm at the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:15am on Tuesday prior to the funeral mass at Sacred Heart Church, North Quincy, MA at 11:00am.  Internment will take place at a later date in Bay Pines Cemetary, St. Petersburg, FL.  In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Don may be made to Suncoast Hospice Foundation, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33760-9962 or to Army Emergency Relief, 200 Stovall Street, Room 5533, Alexandria, VA 22332-0600.
