Donald J. Cresser

Cresser, Donald J. of Quincy, passed away February 17, 2013, he was 77.

The beloved son of the late Colin D. and Mary J. (McCarthy) Cresser. Loving brother of Geraldine Morgan and her husband Charles of Boynton Beach, Florida and Carver, MA and the late John Cresser. Donald is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A long time employee of the City of Boston and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Donald enjoyed following local sports teams. He was a quiet man who enjoyed the simple things in life. The most important part of his life was his family, he was devoted to them and in return they cherished him. He will be sadly missed.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Thursday from 9-10:30am in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 11 AM.  Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.  Donations in memory of Donald may be made to American Lung Assoc. of MA, 460 Totten Pond Road, Waltham, MA 02451.
