Donald G. Ramsey

Ramsey, Donald G. of Quincy, formerly of So. Dennis and Watertown, died May 23, 2013. 

Donald was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II from 1943-1945 in Europe.  After his discharge, he worked as a record keeper at the U.S. Civil Service Archives.  Donald was a true gentleman who possessed that rare trait of being an excellent listener.  This made the people in his life feel appreciated.  He was good natured, easy-going, courteous and polite.  He loved the ocean and enjoyed many long walks on the beach.  His family wishes to thank the residents and staff at Eventide Nursing Home for their gifts of friendship, love and support. 

He was the beloved son of the late Frank J. Ramsey and Alice C. (Horan).  Loving brother of the late Robert Ramsey.  Cherished cousin of Marianne and Kathryn Horan, both of Braintree, and Dennis Kelley and his wife Debbe of Chelmsford. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Friday, May 31, 2013 in St. Ann’s Church, 757 Hancock Street, Quincy at 10 AM.  Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Watertown.
