Donald E. “Don” Mccusker

McCusker, Donald E. “Don” of Quincy, died July 6, 2015. 

Don was born and raised in Quincy and was very proud of his roots.  He continued to reside in Quincy where he and his wife Sally brought up their family.  He was a graduate of BC High, Boston College and Northeastern University where he received degrees in Finance and Engineering.  A United States Army Veteran, Don proudly served his country during the Korean War.  He worked at General Dynamics for over 33 years.  Don was instrumental in the early years of the Koch Club in West Quincy.  He was a faithful parishioner of St. Agatha’s in Milton and Sacred Heart in North Quincy.  Don will be remembered for his work ethic and his loving sense of humor.  His main passion was his family and spending time with those he loved. Don will be sadly missed.

Beloved husband of Sally McCusker (Dolan) of Quincy. Loving father of LtCol. James McCusker, USMC, (Ret.) and his wife Jacqui of CA, Brian McCusker and his wife Michelle of Braintree, Thomas McCusker and his wife Eileen of Sandwich, Matthew McCusker and his wife Carol of Hanover and the late Michael McCusker.  Father-In-Law of Barbara McCusker of Weymouth.  Devoted Grampy of Sean, Sherri, Brendan, Chris, Steve, Corey, Ashley, Tim, Andy, Haley, Sara, and the late Katelyn, as well as 7 great grandchildren. Caring brother of Lorraine Meighan of MD and the late Peggy Mullen.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, North Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
