Coleman, Donald E. of Weymouth formerly of South Boston September 7, 2007. The beloved husband of the late Mary A. (Callahan) Coleman. Loving father of Eugene T. Marsters, BFD of Pembroke, Catherine C. Marsters of Weymouth, Donald E. Coleman, Jr. of ME, Mary A. Fiore of South Boston, Cheryl A. Coleman, Donna M. Collins and Kenneth P. Coleman all of Weymouth and the late Richard P. Marsters. Brother of Alice Grayden of So. Boston, Arthur Coleman of NH and Paul Coleman of Charlestown and the late Alfred, Harold & Kenneth Coleman and Lorraine MacGlashing. Donald is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, 720 Broad St. Weymouth, Tuesday at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4- 8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. United States Army Korean War Veteran. Donald was born in Boston and grew up in South Boston . He married Mary A. (Callahan) and raised his family also in South Boston. He spent more than 50 years in his beloved South Boston. Donald served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked as a custodian with the Boston School department mostly stationed at the McCormack School. He retired in 1992 after 32 years with the City of Boston. An avid Red Sox and a devoted N.E. Patriots fan. Donald loved the outdoors, he enjoyed camping and very much enjoyed the water. A former member of the South Boston Yacht Club. Donald was a devoted family man. He was described by his family as a quiet gentleman who just really enjoyed being with his family. He will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends.
