Falcetta, Dominic F., Sr. of S. Weymouth, formerly of Wollaston, April 22, 2006. Beloved husband of Madeline M. (Bollino) of S. Weymouth. Loving father of Frank and his wife Huiru Li of GA, Nicholas and his wife Kathleen of Hull, Rosanna and her husband Daniel Bradley of Hanover, Elizabeth and her husband John Saville of Brockton, Madeline and her husband John Merino of Dedham, Dominic, Jr. and Rose Marie of Brockton, Marie A. and her husband Vincent Jankord of S. Weymouth and Rita and her husband Bryan Melanson of Marshfield. Brother of the late Nancy Milano, Michael Falcetta, and Mary Campanale. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Thursday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mr. Falcetta may be made to a charity of your choice. Mr. Falcetta was the owner of Falcetta Brothers Coal & Ice Company in Boston for many years. After working at Falcetta Brothers, Dominic was employed by the New England Provision Company as a meat packer from 1968-1978. He then went to work at Carney Hospital in the Purchasing Department, retiring in 1989. He was an extremely loyal Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. He was also an avid bowler. Mr. Falcetta was a Past President of the Wollaston Park Association and a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus. Dominic was known for his wonderful sense of humor and his ability to use “one-liners”. Mr. Falcetta was very proud of his military service. He was a D-Day Veteran of World War II with the United States Army.
