Dolores L. Bellew

Dolores L. (Allard) Bellew 94, of Hingham, Ma, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022. She was born in Boston, Ma February 24, 1927.  Loving wife of the late Thomas Walter Bellew. Dolores “Dilly” leaves behind her five children; Thomas Bellew and his wife Margaret of Hingham, Ma, Karen Techeria and her husband August of Fort Myers, FL, Walter Bellew and his wife Patricia of Abington, Ma.  Cynthia McFetridge and her husband Keith of Canton CT, Elizabeth Walker and her husband Douglas of Cumberland, Me. and late son Timothy P. Bellew.

Dolores was the loving grandmother to 16:  Nicole, Tommy, Renee, Jimmy, Joey, Rebecca, Rachel, Steven, Sara, Christine, Ashley, Danny, Steven, Cameron, Ricky, and Timmy.  The Great Grandmother to 31:  Josh, Michaela, Tommy, Teddy, Jessica, Tegan, Juliet, Amber, Brooke, Brittany, Onnolee, Klara, James, Eliana, Bria, Joey, Adalina, Benjamin, Rachel, Stephen, Noelle, Andrew, David, Tommy, Penny, Evie, Emmaline, Steven, Onnolee, Nevaeh, Mason. Great-Great Grandmother to Colby.

Dolores also leaves behind many extended family members of whom she loved and adored.

Dolores was always surrounded by loved ones.  She loved going to all the grandchildren’s games, near and far.  Hockey, Basketball, Baseball, Football you name it, she was ready to go!  She loved family gatherings, singing, dancing, playing cards and watching Judge Judy.  She often had her own language, which would leave us all in laughter.  She had a wonderful sassy sense of humor.  She loved boating, motorcycle rides, riding around in any of her sons antique cars or convertibles.  Dolores retired from AT&T and enjoyed spending time in St. Petersburg Florida and Bristol New Hampshire. 

Our family would like to thank the staff at “Wingate at Silver Lake” in Kingston, Ma for their dedication and compassion towards our Mother. You all made her passing peaceful and beautiful.
