Dimitrios G. Rozanitis

Rozanitis, Dimitrios G. of Quincy, formerly of Vresthena, Greece, died June 7, 2015.

Dimitrios was born in Vresthena, Greece and loved traveling back to visit family and friends. He was very involved in St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church in Braintree and volunteered for many years. He enjoyed gardening and home projects. His family was the most important to him, especially his grandchildren. He would teach them how to speak Greek and traditional Greek dances. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Beloved husband of Anastasia (Spiliakos) Rozanitis. Devoted father of George Rozanitis and his wife Amy of Hingham, Kosta Rozanitis and his wife Stacia of Scituate, and Efrosini Rozanitis of Quincy. Cherished brother of Panagiotis Rozanitis of Greece, Vasiliki Sousanis of Greece, Ekaterina Mantas of Greece, Konstadinos Rozanitis of Australia, and Nikolaos Rozanitis of Greece. Doting grandfather of James and Alexander Rozanitis of Hingham and Ariana and Dimitri Rozanitis of Scituate. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, Braintree. Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM in St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
