Dimitri "Dan" Oksenuk

Dimitri "Dan" A. Oksenuk of Braintree, son of the late Melania "Molly" (Avrumchuk) Oksenuk and Dimitri "Dan" Oksenuk Sr., entered into rest on March 31, 2025 at the age of 80, with his family by his side. He was born in Boston and raised in Roxbury where he attended Boston Tech and graduated from Dorchester High School, class of 1962.

After getting married in 1966, he called Braintree his home for 54 years.

A consummate student of life, he started a career in medical science, first as chemist at Boston Medical Labs, before transferring to the Malory Institute in cancer research. After a rewarding career in chemistry, he decided to venture out on his own and start a successful company called Microtech Associates, servicing and distributing medical equipment. He worked with all of the leading medical and veterinary hospitals, including private physician facilities in the greater Boston area. Dimitri was also an accomplished accordion player, starting at a young age and winning many awards. He enjoyed performing for people, particularly family and friends. Having a love for the outdoors and nature, he was most happy being near the ocean. He had a natural ability for picking up languages and was someone who entertained people with his natural sense of humor and vast knowledge.

Dimitri is survived by his former wife, Frances (McCauley) Oksenuk and son, Stephan Oksenuk, along with many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday April 7, 2025 from 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. Funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday April 8, 2025 at 10 AM in St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, Braintree. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
