Dianna "Dee" Hillyer

Dianna Frances Hillyer, age 80, died peacefully January 23, 2025 surrounded by loving family. Dee was born in Miami, FL and spent her life in Weymouth, MA.

Beloved daughter of the deceased Clifford and Doris Hillyer of Weymouth and brother Clifford. She is survived by sister-in-law Barbara Hillyer of Estero, FL., brother Vincent and his wife Jackie of Abington, her Aunt Jeannie McNamara of Weymouth, along with cousins Kevin McNamara and wife Vicki of Weymouth and Donna McNamara of Whitman . Nieces Leigh Ann Hillyer Drake and husband Kevin of Marshfield, Lauren Hillyer Olson and husband Danny of Edmond, OK, and nephew Clifford J. Hillyer and wife Loraine of Carver. Also her great nieces and nephews.

She will be missed by her family and many friends including Rita and Ed DiSalvio of Weymouth, Christie McNamara of Wilbraham and Kathy Cassidy of Holbrook.

Dee took her greatest pleasure over the years in training her dogs. In 1980 Dee became a member of Shrewsbury Dog Training Club, helping Rita with the clubs trophies and awards. They started training and showing together throughout the northeast. Dee joined Teamwork Agility Club in 2013 and was their Obedience Trial Chairman for 8 years. 

Services will be private at McDonald Keohane Funeral Home in South Weymouth, MA with a Celebration of Life to be held a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent in Dee’s name to the Papillon Club of America.
