Diane V. Hennessey

Hennessey, Diane V. (Stone), age 72, of Quincy, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2012 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Beloved wife of the late Owen Hennessey. Loving mother of Linda Shaughnessy of Dorchester and Bill Hennessey and his wife Debbie of Dorchester. Cherished grandmother of Keri Shaughnessy of Waltham, James Lunnin and Dan Hennessey; both of Dorchester. Longtime best friend of Maureen Hart of Weymouth. Also survived by several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Hennessey worked for the Stop & Shop Company, retiring as an Executive Secretary. Diane was blessed to have had so many close friends at Hancock Court and took great pleasure in organizing social events to include their BINGO program. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Diane may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
