Diane (Peters) Leonard

Diane (Peters) Leonard, 68, of Carver died Tuesday, November 3, 2015, after a short but courageous battle with cancer and surrounded by her loving family. 

Diane was born and raised in Hingham and was a 1965 graduate of Hingham High School.  Many will remember Diane from her years of waitressing at the former With Richard’s restaurant in Cohasset.  She also worked for a number of years as a graphics specialist at Weston Graphics in Hingham.  Diane loved to crochet and knit but the thing she most loved, after spending time with her family, was the Christmas season.  And if a trip to the Berkshires was in the offing, Diane was always on board with that in any season, especially winter. 

Daughter of the late Louis Peters, Diane is survived by her loving husband, John, two daughters, Lori Stahl and her husband, David, of West Wareham and Teri Anderson MacTaggart and her husband, Richard, of Enfield CT, her mother, Lauretta Peters of Cohasset, two Sisters, Mary Peters of Norwell and Jane Cifrino and her husband, Thomas, of Cohasset.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christopher, Brandon, and Matthew Tilley and Amanda Anderson, one great-grandson, Ryan Stahl, two step sons, several step grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM.  Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
