Diane L. Burns

Diane L. Burns, of Weymouth, passed away after a short illness on June 24, 2021.

Diane was a lifelong resident of Weymouth and attended Weymouth North High School. A passion of Diane’s was gardening and being outdoors. She was very creative and artistic. Diane loved to create beautiful crafts, attend craft fairs and spoil her nieces and nephews. 

Beloved daughter of the late Joseph and JoAnn Burns. Loving sister of Donna M. Cady and her husband Matthew of Weymouth, Joseph R. Burns Jr. of Plymouth, Jeffrey Burns and his wife Marcia of Braintree and JoAnn Oliveira and her husband John of Stoughton. Devoted aunt of Michelle, Andrea, Jeffrey Jr, Max, Ryan, Taylor, Kayla and Kamryn and great aunt of Lila, Braeden, Nicholas and Colin. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Emerson 6 Oncology at South Shore Hospital for their excellent care and compassion.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday 3-6:30PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square).

A funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday at 6:30 PM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.
