Despina Katsikis

Despina (Aftosmes) Katsikis of Hanover, died December 22, 2022, she was 85. The beloved wife of 64 years to Stanley Katsikis of Hanover. Loving mother of  Nicholas Katsikis and his wife Lisa of Hanover and James Katsikis and his wife Tess of Andover. Sister of Charles Aftosmes and his wife Helen of FL and the late Peter and John Aftosmes. Cherished Yia Yia to Kristina, Nicholas, Jr., Angela, Stephen and James. Despina also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousin.

Despina enjoyed trips to the casinos, cooking for her family and all the family gatherings. She enjoyed traveling but nothing gave her as much pleasure as her grandchildren. She adored them and in return they cherished her. She will be sadly missed. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visitation on Wednesday, Dec. 28 from  9-11 AM in St. Catherine’s Greek Orthodox Church, 119 Common St. Braintree, followed by her  Funeral service which will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM in St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, Braintree.

Burial in Hanover Center Cemetery.
