Furtado, Dennis R. “Bud” of Quincy formerly of South Boston, December 16, 2002. Beloved husband of Anne (Sullivan) of Quincy. Loving father of Dennis J. and his wife Kimberly (MacPherson) of Hanover, Peter M. and Matthew R. both of Quincy. Loving brother of Robert and his wife Eleanor of NH, John and his wife Rita of Whitman, Barbara Logan of Quincy and the late Dorothy Locascio. Cherished Papa of Kaitlyn, Thomas and Rachel. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Thursday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 9 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. Bud loved thoroughbred horses. He owned several of them and enjoyed watching them race. He was involved in Quincy Youth Hockey as a coach when his children were growing up. His family, children and grandchildren were his life and he enjoyed spending time with all of them. Dennis enjoyed travelling. He was very active in the Trucking industry and was a member of Teamsters Local 25 for at least twenty years.Donations in memory of Mr. Furtado may be made to American Cancer Society South Regional Center 1115 W.
